I have worked as a chiropractor since 1996 and run a busy, well established clinic together with my husband. I also have a B.A. in Biology and an M.S. in Physiology where I researched skin- and colon cancer.
I have always had an interest in the mind-body connection. I started meditating as a child and was from an early age fascinated by how we influence our outside from our inside and vice versa.
In my practice I often see patients in relation to acute or chronic pain. In my experience pain is often related to a stressful situation or a stressed-out internal state. Generally, we lack awareness of the situation/stress connection, and we rarely have the tools need to gain balance.
For many years I used Network Chiropractic for some groups of patients until I found TRE – Tension/Trauma Releasing Exercises - that I have been teaching since 2011. This is a physical approach toward tension and trauma by accessing the Autonomic Nervous system (ANS) via specific exercises to initiate a neurogenic tremor that naturally release tension and stress.
In 2018 I discovered HeartMath through Dr. Joe Dispenza. Easy and accessible for anybody pretty much anywhere at any time. I am also certified in both hypnotherapy and as a shamanic practitioner.
SOMABreath I discovered in 2021 and experienced this as unique and very powerful tool. I love the practice and how accessible is it. SOMA connects us deeply to our bodies and higher states of conciousness.
I love helping people gain awareness and improve self-regulation. I hold regular group practices with SOMA, TRE and guided meditations in addidtion to HearthMath. We also hold weekend workshops for deeper work.
Besides my meditation practice I have personally greatly enjoyed SOMA Breath, TRE and HeartMath and look forwrd to help share it further.
