As a Soma Breath instructor, I invite you to join me in sessions designed for healing and personal growth. I have been blessed with many guides during my ongoing journey of healing and transformation, and I wish to share these blessings with others by providing an experience where individuals develop trust in their ability to heal themselves, surrendering to the journey and connecting with their divine inner light.

My training in sound healing, Reiki and Pranic Healing influence my offerings. I utilize visualization, toning, movement, music, and breathing in various rhythms to create space for transformation and deep, lasting healing. It is my purpose to empower others to embody their best and highest selves, and to trust in a life of joy and gratitude by developing a meaningful and reflective practice.

I remain focused on my personal journey, seeking out new modalities such as Human Garage, Somatic Movement and different forms of meditations. I enjoy integrating what I learn from these modalities and what I learn about myself into the meditations that I lead.

As an educator since 1990, I have used the teaching of subject matter as a tool to help students develop confidence and explore and evolve into their best selves. I have experience helping students overcome test and math anxiety and provide them with opportunities to overcome doubt, fear and limiting beliefs. During my years as an educator, I have studied and applied concepts related to resilience and neuroscience. I have deeply immersed myself in readings on neuroscience, which describe how we form memories and narratives, and how we can repattern these pathways if needed, and/or form new ones through affirmations and positive thinking. Soma breathwork naturally supports the rebuilding of neural pathways to support healing emotionally and physically.

Our challenges, and even our traumas, are our greatest teachers, and facing them with curiosity and courage enables deep and beautiful growth and insight. It can be difficult to see this when we are deep in the struggle, and breathwork meditations are a wonderful tool to break through. With each layer of trauma we peel away, examine, and repattern, the greater the gratitude for these healing opportunities. Over time, this healing has led to a deep knowing that I will be ok regardless of the challenges life presents, and that no matter how dark today may feel, the light on the other side will allow me to create meaning and develop a deeper sense of truth, compassion, and love for myself and others. It is my goal to provide others with the tools to realize their best self and tap into this healing process.

I envision a peaceful world where people enjoy health of body, mind and spirit, existing through a sense of deep connection with each other, the divine, and the earth. By experiencing our divine consciousness and acknowledging our place, and our responsibility to, the collective consciousness, we can heal ourselves and each other, creating a world where we feel free, safe, and nurtured.

I offer group and individual Soma Breath sessions. You can reach me at amayerpendleton@gmail.com.
