If you want to dive deep into a focused meditative state a SOMA Breath Journey will get you there. In a SOMA Breath Journey, a SOMA Breath Advanced Instructor will guide you through a customized breathwork meditation with a specific focus in mind. They will do this using visualization techniques so you can fully embody the purpose of the meditation and use breathwork to supercharge your meditation. Everyday we hold back from being our true, fully expressed self – over time this can lead to a deep feeling of unfulfillment. 

This might be pretending to be more knowledgeable on a topic than we are to impress and fit in or it could be holding back from allowing ourselves to be wildly playful in front of others for fear of embarrassing ourselves, the list goes on… And when we hide our true nature and desires, we signal and reinforce to our subconscious that it is not ok or safe to be ourselves. When we contract who we are being we also disconnect from others who can sense that we are holding back. Over time we begin to feel more stuck and unfulfilled.

An immersive mind-body experience – 8th May

This immersive mind-body experience will gently provide an opportunity for you to explore where you are holding back by expressing, connecting and moving with others. We will use breathing exercises for calmness, movement to explore and play, followed by a guided visualisation, sound and breathwork journey where you will experience stillness and tap into  your subconscious body and mind – beyond the ego.

Modern science is slowly catching up with ancient wisdom in understanding the intelligence held within the body which existed before the brain – we are feeling beings first! To truly heal we need to embody change and re-programme our limiting beliefs which reside in the subconscious body and mind, inaccessible through rational thought alone. Expression allows us to feel the emotion behind our stories and breathwork allows us to access the subconscious mind to release negative stored patterns.
