Breathe In Beats
Breathing in Beats, or breathing in a consistent rhythm, helps you achieve heart coherence.
Whether it’s 1:1, 2:2, 2:4, 4:4, 4:8… as long as you breathe in a continuous pattern for at least a few minutes, you will be able to achieve heart coherence. When you are in coherence, the rest of the systems in the body to also synchronise in a rhythmical way, functioning at its most efficient way.
Heart coherence helps us feel deeply relaxed, yet totally energised. The more you practice this, the more you will notice that you are more resilient and better at regulating your emotions. With regular practise, you will even start sleeping better, and waking up feeling really energetic.
When you breathe in beats and use the diaphragmatic/belly breathing, it stimulates the largest lymphatic organ in the body, the spleen, creating a powerful cleansing effect. The spleen is responsible for the production and removal of blood cells, and it is also part of the immune system.
Breathing in beats hyper-oxygenates the body, bringing in more oxygen and blowing out more carbon dioxide than normal. This alters the pH of the blood stream and creates a stronger electromagnetic field and current to flow through the body.
Your quality of thought is also linked to your breath. HeartMath Institute has conducted studies showing that erratic breathing leads to erratic thinking and that smooth consistent breathing leads to coherent thought.
